General Information and Policies
A note of thanks to everyone who consistently looks after their gravesites and makes a continued effort to follow the guidelines.
The Church consecrates only two places-churches and cemeteries. Catholic cemeteries are not only memorials to the dead, but a testament to our faith in the resurrection of the body at the end of time.
Regulations play an important part in maintaining the sacredness of the space. The appearance of the grounds should show respect for all dead buried there and contribute to an atmosphere of serenity and peace. Unauthorized items detract from that feeling of rest and peace that is so necessary when we visit the graves of our loved ones and, in many cases, constitute a hazard to cemetery personnel and visitors.
No glass jars, bottles, tin cans, crockery, earthenware pots, etc. are permitted. Decorations or floral arrangements will be removed if they become unsightly or are inappropriate. Floral saddle designs placed on top fo the monuments must not exceed 8 inches in height. Portraits or any other materials may not be attached in any way to the monument.
We ask you to monitor your plot and bring it into conformity. November 1st begins the fall cleanup at which time all decorations are to be removed. Do not discard any items on cemetery grounds or leave them at the garage. Lot owners are responsible for removing decorations they wish to save.
Wreaths and Christmas arrangements may be placed during the Christmas season which begins November 15th. Such decorations should be removed beginning January 15th or sooner if they become unsightly.

Once again, thanks must be extended to all our visitors who are making the extreme effort to help with the restoration and beautification of our cemetery. Without your cooperation it would be nearly impossible to maintain these sacred grounds. Regulations have been posted for everyone's convenience.
As you may have noticed a lot of clean up has been taking place and dumping of any kind is prohibited, therefore please take any and all refuse with your when it becomes unsightly and faded, please do not leave it on cemetery grounds.
The parish cemetery is not responsible for any decorations. To aid with the maintenance of the grounds, decorations must be placed on either side of the monument.
A reminder that graves may be decorated during the 24 hour period immediately preceeding Memorial Day with a small United States flag. No other flag other than the United States flag is permitted. Flags must be removed 24 hours after Flag Day. Organizations ( i.e. VFW, American Legion and Fraternal) placing flags are responsible for the removal and disposal of the United States flag in accordance with the United States flag code. As a reminder, the two center driveways should be used for entering and the two end driveways used for exiting.
Please feel free to contact the cemetary manager at 686-5796 if you have any questions
